a few things started.....
Ok....well here's an update. We've watched "Some Like it Hot", and "City Lights" so far....have a couple more that we need to watch, as they're due back soon....lol, so that means there's 98 left to go.
Accomplished a few things so far: Acquired a library card (which apparently due to living in the neighborhood we live in, was free), started recycling (and started a compost uh...thing, as well) and also got Life Insurance...
That's about it for now.

Turning over new leaves...or something-or-other.......
Ok, since my wife saw the concept of the 101 things in 1001 days on a friend of her's blog and decided to do it, I decided to do it with her, besides I could use some motivation as well. Here are some details...
The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie, no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie, represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
